Seven Days Leave (1930)
Sarah Ann Dowey, bonne à Londres pendant la Grande Guerre, se sent exclue des conversations de ses collègues sur leurs fils au front. Elle découvre alors qu’un soldat canadien porte son nom de famille et prétend qu’il est son fils, jusqu’à y croire elle-même.
