Le retour de Max Dugan (1983)
Nora est une mère célibataire qui vit avec son fils, Michael dans une petite maison. Ils n’ont pas beaucoup d’argent mais sont heureux. Un beau jour, Max Dugan, le père que Nora, qui avait quitté sa mère quand elle avait 9 ans, réapparaît. Il apporte avec lui, une valise remplie de billet de dollars, afin de rattraper le temps perdu, sachant qu’il ne va pas tarder à mourir d’un cancer. L’argent vient de sa carrière douteuse de Las Vegas et Nora rencontre, Brian, un policier qui s’intéresse beaucoup à lui...
