J'ai acheté une Chinoise (1960)
Californie, années 1870. Le cowboy Lincoln 'Linc' Bartlett découvre qu'il y a une vente aux enchères d'esclaves de femmes chinoises à San Francisco. Il s'y rend et achète la chinoise Kim Sung dans le but de la libérer. A San Francisco, en 1870, à l'occasion d'une vente d'esclaves chinois, un Américain, Bartlett, achète une jeune Chinoise, Kim, pour la sauver de la prostitution. Il l'emmène chez lui et convainc sa mère de la prendre comme domestique.
