Odile, une jeune femme psychologiquement très perturbée, s'identifie à la Comtesse sanglante et moyenâgeuse Elisabeth Bathory. Cependant, durant ses périodes menstruelles, elle rêve de devenir Alice, un double fantasmagorique qui s'adonne à la luxure. Son subconscient va alors la conduire dans une expérience aux frontières de l'horreur et de la folie.
