Tout Pour la Vérité (2008)
Documentariste de renom, Lauren Wilde boucle un reportage autour d'un sujet sensible : la vie des condamnés à mort quelques mois avant leur exécution. Pour étayer son sujet, elle se rend à Hillsdale, dans l'Oregon, scène d'un crime passionnel particulièrement horrible qui avait décimé une famille entière, les Watson. Tentant d'en savoir plus sur ce qui a poussé Kevin Reese, l'auteur présumé du meurtre, à commettre un tel acte, Lauren se voit bientôt confrontée aux proches du détenu, qui doutent de sa culpabilité. Et quand, de surcroît, la police locale fait preuve de beaucoup de réticence à l'idée de coopérer, la journaliste pourrait bien devenir enquêtrice et mettre à jour des éléments du dossier qu'on avait intentionnellement tenter de dissimuler.
