Moll Flanders ou les mémoires d'une courtisane (1996)
Dépêché par sa maîtresse, Hibble retrouve la petite Flora et doit se charger de la ramener aux Amériques et de lui narrer l'histoire de sa mère, Moll Flanders. Celle-ci a passé son enfance au couvent d'où, un beau jour, elle a fui pour rejoindre Londres. Là, elle est recueillie par une riche famille, mais doit s'en séparer après un malentendu. C'est alors qu'elle est engagée comme servante dans une splendide villa, qui n'est autre qu'une maison de passe. D'abord réticente à l'idée de se prostituer, Moll Flanders finit par franchir le pas et sombre dans la déchéance. Un jour, elle rencontre un peintre et tombe éperdument amoureuse de lui...
