Santa Sangre (1989)
À la suite d'un drame familial, Fenix, petit mime d'un cirque de Mexico, est enfermé dans un hôpital psychiatrique. Huit ans plus tard, il retrouve sa mère. Le cirque n'existant plus, ils errent dans la ville, représentant une pantomime qui se prolonge tragiquement dans leur vie quotidienne, pour le grand malheur de Fenix.
