Un mariage malgré tout (2006)
Ben travaille pour le Gouverneur de l'Etat du Maine et est fiancé à sa fille Maggie. Il confie à Shel, son frère, l'organisation de son futur mariage. Mais lorsque ce dernier apprend les convictions et la position contre le mariage homosexuel du gouverneur, il décide de stopper immédiatement son activité et de se mettre en grève. Les journalistes s'emparent de cette histoire et, bientôt, la grève s'étend à tout le pays...
