The Bespoke Overcoat (1955)
Fender est un modeste employé dans l'entrepôt du fabricant de vêtements Ranting and Co. Sa seule ambition est d'avoir un manteau à lui. Se voyant refuser un manteau par Ranting, au cœur froid, il demande à un ami tailleur, Morry, de lui en fabriquer un, mais il meurt de froid avant de pouvoir en prendre livraison. Ne voulant pas renoncer à son seul désir, même dans la mort, il revient sous forme de fantôme pour persuader Morry de lui voler le pardessus qu'il convoitait tant de son vivant.
