Deux exquises vieilles dames font disparaître de vieux messieurs. Mortimer, leur neveu, découvre l'affaire. Mais, l'affaire se corse pour lui quand il découvre que ses cousins, l'un gentil, l'autre méchant, sont également mêlés à l'histoire et que les cadavres s'amoncellent dans la cave.
