Légitime violence (1977)
Charles Rane est un vétéran de l'armée. Considéré comme un héros de guerre par sa ville, tout le monde lui offre pleins de cadeaux. Une bande de voleur y voit l'occasion de s'enrichir. Ils attaquent la maison de Charles Rane. Sa vie bacule totalement donc ce jour funeste ou sa femme et son fils sont assassinés devant ses yeux alors que lui est amputé d'une main. Peu à peu, la douleur fait place a la haine et au désir irrépressible de vengeance...
