Dans le fabuleux magasin de jouets de Mr. Magorium, les peluches vous font des câlins, les ballons jouent tout seuls au basket, les héros articulés partent à l'aventure d'un rayon à l'autre, et l'imagination des enfants suffit à donner vie aux rêves les plus fous ! Molly, une timide jeune femme, était très heureuse de travailler dans cet endroit vraiment magique, jusqu'à ce que cet excentrique de Mr. Magorium décide de lui léguer le magasin. Un changement inquiétant se produit alors : le magasin se met en colère, et plus question pour les jouets de s'animer comme avant.Ce n'est sûrement pas Henry, le nouveau comptable qui ne croit pas à la magie, qui va aider Molly à redonner vie au magasin. Pour avoir une chance d'y parvenir, elle va devoir percer le secret de la magie qui l'anime...
