Perry Mason : Échec à la dame (1994)
L'animateur Adrian Lye est au faîte de sa gloire. Mais les téléspectateurs assidus de son émission ignorent que le sympathique présentateur n'est en fait qu'un individu malhonnête, qui exploite les secrets qu'il partage avec ses célèbres invités en les faisant chanter. Lorsque Lye est retrouvé assassiné, son entourage ne s'en étonne guère, il comptait en effet un nombre incalculable d'ennemis... Le seul problème, c'est que Daniel Kingman, champion d'échecs, est accusé du meurtre. Le malheureux, qui est tombé dans le piège que lui a tendu le véritable assassin, a bien du mal à prouver son innocence. En l'absence de Perry Mason, l'avocat McKenzie prend l'affaire en main.
