Le Livre de la vie (1998)
Aéroport JFK, New York, le 31 décembre 1999. Jésus débarque avec son assistante, la belle et mystérieuse Magdalena. Tout le monde se pose la même question : le commencement du nouveau millénaire signifie-t-il la fin du monde ? Au cours de la journée, Jésus va parcourir New-York, croiser croyants et impies, à l'heure où il faut décider du sort des âmes humaines. Le Diable est également en ville, errant de bar en bar, pour récupérer les âmes pures. Un homme et une femme, un couple parmi tous les autres, va être soumis à sa rhétorique tentatrice. Secondé par une armée d'avocats, Jésus va tenter de renégocier les termes de l'Apocalypse. La colère de Dieu plane dans le ciel de New-York, en ce jour où tout peut basculer...
