En 1913, alors que la tension politique en Europe est de plus en plus forte, un événement étrange survient : un énorme objet venu de l'espace tombe avec fracas en pleine forêt de Bohême. Les Allemands découvrent vite qu'il s'agit d'une invasion extra-terrestre quand d'inimaginables machines commencent à décimer leur armée. Bientôt, c'est toute l'Europe qui se mobilise contre ces envahisseurs, mais la technologie très avancée de ces derniers leur donne l'avantage. Comment l'humanité va-t-elle résister ?
