Rachel rompt avec son petit ami après avoir découvert qu'il lui a été infidèle. Déterminée à retrouver l'amour, elle s'essaye aux rencontres en ligne et elle fait la connaissance de Craig. Tout se passe à merveille entre eux, jusqu'à ce que Rachel découvre le caractère jaloux, possessif et obsessionnel de son petit-ami. Il est aussi incapable de prendre des décisions sans l'aval de sa mère ! Enfin, elle découvre qu'une investigation est en cours au sujet de la disparation suspecte de son ex fiancée...
