La Cité disparue (1957)
Parti de Tombouctou, Paul Bonnard est à la recherche d'un fabuleux trésor, enfoui dans une cité perdue du Sahara. Son père, avant lui, avait tenté de trouver l'antique cité d'Ophir, mais il n'en était jamais revenu. Bonnard, qui a besoin d'un guide, engage Joe January, un aventurier. Les deux hommes se mettent en route. Une jeune esclave, Dita, se joint à eux. L'aventure commence, mais pas forcément là où on l'attendait. Les deux aventuriers se disputent violemment au sujet de Dita. Bientôt, alors que la fameuse cité est retrouvée, Bonnard et January hommes se vouent une haine farouche...
