Tension (1949)
Warren Quimby, brave gars sans la moindre once de méchanceté, dirige un drugstore pendant que sa voluptueuse femme Claire le trompe à tour de bras. Un jour elle franchit le pas en s’installant chez son amant du moment, Barney Deager. Warren tente de la récupérer mais se fait rosser par Deager. Il décide alors de tuer ce dernier sous une fausse identité. Mais le soir du meurtre, il est incapable de passer à l’acte. Le lendemain matin, Claire est de retour à la maison : Deager a été retrouvé mort…
