Dangereuse innocence (1996)
Puissant homme d'affaires, Robert Steves se montre particulièrement exigeant envers sa fille, Clare, une adolescente plutôt timide, qui rêve juste de s'amuser comme ses amies. Elle est obligée de mentir à chaque fois qu'on l'invite à une soirée dansante. Clare cache également à ses parents l'existence de son petit ami, Eddie. Un soir, elle disparaît. Steves reçoit un coup de fil d'un inconnu qui lui réclame 250 000 dollars en échange de la libération de sa fille. Ayant récupéré la rançon, les ravisseurs parviennent à prendre la fuite. Bientôt, Steves soupçonne sa fille d'avoir fomenté son propre enlèvement...
