Deux garçons taciturnes traversent le sud-ouest américain à bord de leur Chevy 55 grise. Une jeune fille un peu paumée les rejoint dans leur périple, jusqu'à ce que leur chemin croise une rugissante GTO 70 jaune, conduite par un sémillant quadragénaire.
