Dans la fin des années 1970, le projet SETI a reçu un signal d'une fois de l'espace. Il était exactement comme les théoriciens pensaient une communication d'une civilisation extraterrestre serait - malheureusement, il n'a jamais été décodé. Ou alors on nous a dit. À l'insu du grand public le signal a été traduit et nous a dit deux choses: 1) Nous ne sommes pas seuls. 2) La galaxie est un endroit dangereux.
