Ouvrier ou joueur de poker, Samir et Xavier vivent au jour le jour. Jeune femme brillante et future mariée, Liza a un avenir tout tracé. Ils et elle se retrouvent par hasard le temps d’un week-end pour un séjour aussi improbable qu’initiatique. Ils lui apprennent à se sentir Russe, font la course en marchant sur les mains, ils la protègent lors de leur confrontation au monde ; mais c’est elle qui leur apprendra ce qu’est véritablement la liberté.
