Passeport pour Pimlico (1949)
Peu après la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, les habitants de Pimlico, quartier du centre de Londres, découvrent, après l'explosion tardive d'une bombe larguée par l'aviation allemande, un parchemin démontrant que leur quartier est en droit une dépendance du duché de Bourgogne, qui avait perdu son indépendance depuis 1482. Après l'arrivée d'un homme s'affirmant duc de Bourgogne, et venu revendiquer ses droits, les habitants proclament leur indépendance par rapport au Royaume-Uni, devenant ainsi une micro-nation. Dans le but de reprendre le contrôle de la situation et de retirer cette « épine » fichée au cœur même de la capitale, le gouvernement britannique interrompt la fourniture de tous les services assurés dans le quartier et instaure un contrôle frontalier. Les « Bourguignons » organisent la résistance...
