Le Retour du Docteur X (1939)
Le journaliste Walter Garrett enquête sur une situation incompréhensible. Angela Merrova a été assassinée avant de réapparaître bien vivante devant la police. Avec l’aide précieuse de son ami, le docteur Rhodes, il tente de relever les indices qui expliqueront cette résurrection impossible. Bientôt, les deux hommes en déduisent que le brillant et renommé docteur Flegg a quelque chose à cacher.
