Depuis sa plus tendre enfance, Callie veut être artiste culinaire. C'est en tant que plongeuse qu'elle intègre les cuisines d'un club privé où son père est employé. Elle va pouvoir travailler près de la grande chef Gloria, et surtout y recroiser David Manning, le fils du propriétaire du club qui avait flashé sur elle et ses talents en sculpture sur glace lorsqu'ils étaient enfants…
