Sophie and the Rising Sun (2016)
Automne 1941. Alors que la 2ème guerre mondiale déchire l’Europe, les Etats-Unis restent à l’écart des combats. Dans une ville de Caroline du Sud, Sophie, une jeune artiste fait la rencontre de Mr. Ohta un homme d’origine asiatique arrivé dans la région dans des circonstances floues. Alors qu’une complicité naît entre eux, le bombardement de Pearl Harbor fait naître une haine des asiatiques qui menace Mr. Ohta.
