À cinq ans, Jane a été confiée à un orphelinat après avoir été retrouvée seule et amnésique au beau milieu d’une forêt. Vingt ans plus tard, une femme prétendant être sa mère se rappelle à son bon souvenir. Jane décide alors de la rejoindre dans un domaine du Minnesota. Elle y fait la connaissance de Sylvia, Carlo et Theresa, l’intendante de la maison. Mais rapidement, le quotidien de Jane va virer au cauchemar...
