Le droit de tuer (1948)
Un magistrat découvre que sa femme est atteinte d'une maladie très grave. Afin de lui épargner d'atroces souffrances, il provoque un accident de voiture... dont il réchappe. Rongé de scrupules, il veut se livrer à la justice, mais un jeune avocat amoureux de sa fille va tenter de l'en empêcher...
