Attiré par le gain facile et l’envie d’échapper a sa pauvreté., Goni croit pouvoir rivaliser avec des joueurs de Hwatu de passage dans sa ville. Happé par la spirale des pertes, il ira jusqu’à voler sa propre soeur. Lessivé et laissé pour mort, il n’aura qu’un seul objectif: se venger et devenir le meilleur dans un monde où la triche est le seul atout. Pour se faire, il doit d’abord convaincre le plus grand joueur du pays à le prendre comme élève… Mais dans ce milieu, on est aussitôt repérée et on se fait plus vites des ennemis que des amis. Et quand on est pris, la seule issue, c’est un aller direct vers l’enfer.
