Trouble Every Day (2001)
Au petit matin, une femme fardée est postée au bord d’une route de la banlieue parisienne. Un camion s’arrête. Le soir, un motard découvre le cadavre du camionneur horriblement mutilé. Bien que l’inconnue soit couverte de sang, il prend soin d’elle. Plus tard, dans la chambre d’un pavillon, elle veut faire l’amour avec lui, mais il la repousse avant de l’enfermer en lui laissant quelques gélules. Loin de là, un avion survole les États-Unis. À son bord, un couple en voyage de noces se dirige vers Paris. Saisi par une crise d’angoisse, l’homme a des visions du corps ensanglanté de sa jeune épouse. Arrivé à l’hôtel, il ne peut lui faire l’amour. Le lendemain, il cherche à prendre contact avec Léo Sémeneau, un chercheur devenu médecin…
