Le Jardin des tortures (1967)
Le Jardin des tortures, une attraction foraine à laquelle nous convie, non pas le Dr Terror du Train des épouvantes (1967), mais le bien nommé Dr Diabolo, incarné par Burgess Meredith. Après la représentation macabre, ce dernier invite 5 personnes à le suivre dans ce Jardin des tortures où il les confrontera à Atropos, déesse du destin incarnée dans un mannequin figurant une vieille gitane, filant et coupant le fil de nos existences. Comme c'était le cas dans Le Train des épouvantes où Peter Cushing tirait les cartes aux protagonistes qui partageaient son wagon, quatre des invités particuliers du Dr Diabolo se confronteront à une vision de leur futur. Quatre personnages, 2 hommes, 2 femmes - la parité est respectée - quatre sketchs signés Robert Bloch.
