Everyday People (2004)
Le Raskin's, un petit restaurant new-yorkais, connait de nombreux problèmes financiers. La situation profite à un investisseur qui veut récupérer l'emplacement pour y installer un commerce. Il fait pression sur le patron des lieux qui ne parvient pas à se décider et à faire le deuil de ce petit restaurant. Car l'endroit, installé à Brooklyn, possède une véritable âme et la clientèle est composée de consommateurs de toutes les catégories sociales et raciales. Devant la possibilité de fermeture très prochaine de l'établissement, de nombreux clients manifestent leur profond attachement au restaurant.
