Amour et Préméditation (2005)
Accusé d'avoir assassiné son ex-femme, le riche banquier Devon Major demande à Susan Grace, l'avocate qui a représenter la défunte lors de leur divorce, d'assurer sa défense. Avant d'accepter, l'avocate veut être certaine de son innocence. En examinant toutes les pièces du dossier avec le procureur Kirsten Sorensen, elle est bientôt convaincue que Devon n'a pas tué son ex-femme. Elle accepte donc de le défendre. Mark Fairfiel, agent au ministère des Finances, fait pression pour que les charges contre Devon soient abandonnées.
