Taras Bulba (1962)

Taras, un paysan ukrainien, envoie son fils dans une école polonaise pour qu'il reçoive la meilleure formation chez ceux qui occupent son peuple et qu'il espère un jour renverser. Sur place, tout ne se passe pas comme prévu. Le fils tombe amoureux de la fille d'un noble polonais, une idylle mal perçue des deux familles.
