Enid (2009)
Biographie de la romancière britannique Enid Blyton. Enfant, Enid Blyton prend l'habitude de raconter des histoires à ses frères afin qu'ils échappent aux disputes continuelles de leurs parents. Alors que la Première Guerre mondiale fait rage, Enid, qui étudie pour devenir enseignante, envoie parallèlement plusieurs textes à des éditeurs. L'un d'entre eux, Hugh Pollock, va bientôt la publier, avant de l'épouser. Le couple a deux enfants, mais Enid, spécialisée dans la littérature enfantine, ne s'occupe jamais de ses propres enfants, confiés à une nourrice. Le succès va croissant et la romancière délaisse de plus en plus ses enfants et son mari, qui se réfugie dans l'alcool. Bientôt, Enid obtient le divorce et se remarie avec Kenneth Waters...
