S-21, la machine de mort Khmère rouge (2003)
Au Cambodge, sous les khmers rouges, S21 était le principal "bureau de la sécurité". Dans le centre de détention et d'élimination situé au coeur de Phnom Penh, près de 17.000 prisonniers ont été torturés, interrogés puis exécutés entre 1975 et 1979. Trois d'entre eux seulement sont encore en vie... Pendant près de trois ans, Rithy Panh et son équipe ont entrepris une longue enquête auprès des rares rescapés, mais aussi auprès de leurs anciens bourreaux. A ce jour aucun responsable khmer rouge n'a été jugé.
