La vérité à tout prix (1993)
Dave Davis a un plan sinistre pour gagner beaucoup d'argent : séduire la jeune et naïve infirmière Shannon Mohr. Dave rencontre Shannon qui ne ne méfie pas lors d'un mariage entre amis communs. Shannon, qui a dix ans de moins et vient de sortir d'une relation à long terme, a un œil sur l'apparence charmante de Dave et ses histoires de vie intéressantes. Un mois après le début de leur relation houleuse, ils se marient à Las Vegas. Bientôt, Shannon est victime d'un homme qu'elle pense aimer, mais elle n'est pas sûre de son amour. Lorsqu'elle meurt de façon inattendue après une chute de cheval, Dave prend un montant généreux de la police d'assurance-vie. Mais les parents de Shannon remettent en question la mort subite de leur fille.
