La Rose du crime (1947)
Le jour où Daisy est retrouvée assassinée, sa colocataire et amie Belle, soupçonne immédiatement Sir Alexander Sterling : un aristocrate que Daisy avait pour habitude de fréquenter. Peu de temps après, la fiancée du jeune homme, Audrey est également retrouvée morte. Le comportement étrange du jeune homme ne laisse plus de place au doute, la police procède à son arrestation : il est l'auteur de ses crimes. Mais de nouveaux éléments vont remettre en question sa culpabilité...
