Un Noël émouvant (2017)
Jane vit avec sa fille de 18 ans, Betsy, dans une petite ville du Wisconsin. Ayant perdu son mari militaire peu de temps après la naissance de Betsy, elle a du mal à envisager de refaire sa vie, même avec un de ses proches amis, Jackson, qui, d’après ce qu’on lui dit, a pourtant tout de l’homme idéal. A la rentrée prochaine, Betsy quittera la maison pour commencer des études de vétérinaire, ce qui semble stresser Jane, en bonne mère protectrice. Un jour, Betsy rencontre Tyler, un jeune soldat et tombe immédiatement amoureuse de lui. Sa mère fera tout pour la mettre en garde contre la douleur que peut provoquer l’éloignement lorsque Tyler sera envoyé au combat...
