La Passeuse des Aubrais, 1942 (2016)
Originaire de Varsovie, Abram Prazan arrive en France dans les années 1920. À Paris, il épouse Estera. Juive polonaise comme lui, elle vient d'un shtetl de la région de Lodz. Deux enfants naissent : Jeannette, en 1932, et Bernard, 3 ans plus tard. Abram ouvre deux boucheries. Ses affaires tournent bien jusqu'à la guerre. Après la débâcle de 1940, la mise en oeuvre par Pétain de la politique de collaboration avec l'occupant donne lieu à des lois antisémites.
