Crackie (2009)
La vie sur le rocher n'a jamais semblé facile, mais pour Mitsy, c'est particulièrement difficile. L'adolescente a été abandonnée par sa mère, un parent particulièrement inapte, enclin à la fois au biberon et au commerce du sexe. Elle doit être élevée par sa grand-mère mercurielle Bride, bien intentionnée mais suffocante. Les rêves de Mitsy pour l'avenir reposent sur son désir d'être coiffeuse, mais son bien-être émotionnel actuel tourne autour d'un petit chien nommé Sparky, un chien inadapté indésirable auquel elle s'attache désespérément. Après que Bride ait accepté de laisser Mitsy prendre le chien comme animal de compagnie, l'adolescent tente désespérément de créer un endroit heureux et sûr pour que Sparky prospère.
