Jindabyne, Australie (2006)
D'origine irlandaise, Stewart Kane vit en Australie, dans la petite ville de Jindabyne. Parti avec ses trois amis pour une randonnée de pêche dans les montagnes, il découvre le cadavre d'une jeune femme dans la rivière. Les quatre hommes décident pourtant de ne pas rentrer tout de suite ; ils continuent tranquillement à pêcher et ne signalent leur macabre découverte que quelques jours plus tard. A leur retour, ils sont confrontés à la colère et à l'incompréhension de toute la communauté. Ce sera l'occasion de révéler les secrets enfouis par des années de vie commune et d'exacerber les sentiments de haine et d'amour qui agitent plus que jamais les habitants de Jindabyne.
