Dans les griffes de mon beau-père (2017)
Après la mort de son compagnon, Peg élève seule ses deux filles de 15 et 17 ans. Alors qu'elle traverse une période de difficultés financières, elle rencontre Richard, un homme aisé qui dans un premier temps se montre attentionné, lui propose des sorties et lui permet d'échapper à son quotidien. Il finit par la demander en mariage au grand désespoir de Lizzie et Maggie, qui se sentent délaissées par leur mère. Elles s'inquiètent de l'emprise qu'exerce sur elle leur futur beau-père. Bientôt, elles sont contraintes d'emménager chez lui et de changer d'établissements scolaires. Un jour où Peg est absente, Richard enivre et drogue Maggie, fait des photos compromettantes et abuse d'elle.
