Traque à San Francisco (2002)
Samuel Brown vit en Alaska. Lorsqu'il apprend l'assassinat de sa sœur à San Francisco, il décide d'aller retrouver le meurtrier. Les assassinats continuent et Buckley Clarke, chargé de l'enquête à la police criminelle de San Francisco, se joint - à contre-cœur - aux efforts de Sam. Peu à peu, les indices les mènent vers une personne mince, sans doute une femme qui marcherait avec une canne... Tandis que les supérieurs de Bucley pensent que le tueur en série choisit ses victimes au hasard, Buckley et Sam sont persuadés qu'il existe un lien entre le tueur et les médecins du service néo-natal d'un hôpital.
