Il était une fois... « Rome, ville ouverte » (2006)
Ecrit avec la collaboration de Federico Fellini, tourné alors que la guerre n’est pas terminée, le film sort en septembre 1945 et obtient la Palme d’or du festival de Cannes 1946. C’est le plus gros succès de Roberto Rossellini.
