Little Odessa (1994)
Joshua Shapira, tueur à gages, accepte une mission qui le ramène dans son quartier natal, à Brighton Beach (New York), aussi appelé « Little Odessa », en raison de l'importante communauté russe qui y vit et dont il fait partie. Les retrouvailles sont douloureuses : son père refuse de parler à ce fils assassin, et sa mère est en train de mourir d'une tumeur. Il reprend contact discrètement avec son petit frère, Reuben et avec une ancienne petite amie. La rumeur de son retour se répand. Recherché par la mafia ukrainienne locale pour avoir tué le fils du parrain Volkoff, l'endroit devient trop dangereux pour lui.
