Liam (2001)
Dans les années trente, Liam grandit dans le quartier catholique irlandais de Liverpool. A sept ans, il est le petit dernier de la famille. Son frère aîné travaille déjà et participe aux frais de la maison tout comme sa soeur qui fait des ménages. Entre une mère affectueuse et un père responsable, la famille est heureuse malgré le manque d'argent, jusqu'au jour où la crise frappe de plein fouet les dockers.
