Soup to Nuts (1930)
Le magasin de costumes de M. Schmidt est en faillite parce qu'il passe son temps sur des inventions à la Rube Goldberg ; les créanciers envoient un jeune manager qui tombe amoureux de la nièce de Schmidt, Louise, mais elle n'en aura pas. Les amis de Schmidt, Ted, Queenie et quelques pompiers maladroits essaient d'aider; les choses tournent mal lorsque Louise doit être sauvée d'un incendie.
