Byeong-hee a des problèmes mentaux suite à la perte soudaine de sa femme. Su-jang est une jeune femme farfelue, elle manque de compétences sociales et n’a pas de grand rêve dans la vie hormis celui d’un grand amour improbable. Elle rencontre pourtant Byeong-hee alors que ce dernier est en train de… se pendre !
