Lance Bishop est un vendeur enthousiaste qui est heureux en ménage. Jusqu'au jour où sa vie va être bouleversée. Après avoir failli être tué par un homme hagard, il commence à entendre une voix. Cette puissante voix lui dit d'assassiner sa femme. Lance commence par perdre confiance en lui avant de chercher une explication. Il découvre que le gouvernement est en train d'effectuer un projet expérimental permettant de programmer le cerveau humain. Avec l'aide de plusieurs agents, Lance tente de mettre fin à ce projet diabolique qui ôte toute liberté aux êtres humains.
